Melissa
Levi is a powerful singer/songwriter who creates music with a dynamism
that is felt in her intense stage presence. She has been performing her
music for over 15 years and her musical style is best described as an
impassioned blend of blues, rock and jazz. Since moving from Detroit,
MI to Seattle, WA in 2002, Melissa has shared the stage with such
artists as Brandi Carlile, Kathyrn Calder (New Pornographers), Amy Ray
(Indigo Girls), Carla Torgerson (The Walkabouts), and Bitch (formerly
of Bitch and Animal).
Her many influences include (in no
particular order): Fiona Apple, Ellen Mcllwaine, PJ Harvey, Ani
DiFranco, Tool, Outkast, John Scofield, Led Zeppelin, Nina Simone,
Fugazi, Radiohead, Jeff Buckley, Stevie Wonder, Billy Joel, Nick Drake,
and more.
In July 2013, Melissa released a full length album with Producer Jack Endino (Nirvana/Soundarden/Screaming Trees) titled Let's Paint Our Whole Room With It (with her former band Seeing Blind) .

Other notable accomplishments include receiving Honorable Mention from the West Coast International Songwriting Competition for her song "Life is Concrete", performing live on the Marty Riemer Show, and being chosen out of hundreds of artist to participate in the Final Round of the 2013 Seattle Wave Radio Jammin' Challenge and winning 4th place!
Melissa is currently headed back into the studio again to record a
solo album which is slotted for release Summer 2014. Look for details on
