Quite Alright

Written By: Melissa Sigler

Quite Alright

Don't feel too happy – don’t feel too sad
Dont' like too many people
most of 'em make me mad
You Can Call Me - I won't answer the phone
Cause I really am Quite Alright
Quite Alright to be alone

Everything I do - seems to turn out bad
When the sun comes up - Lord it makes me sad
You Can Call Me - I won't answer the phone
Cause I really am Quite Alright
Quite Alright to be alone

I went to see my doctor - A week ago today
He said I'd have to change my ways, I don't like him anyway

A weekend in the country - would sho nuff do me good
But I can't think of anyplace I'd go even if I could
You Can Call Me - I won't answer the phone
Cause I really am Quite Alright
Quite Alright to be alone

Change My Heart

Written By: Melissa Sigler

I've been listening to the voices in my head
As I sit here in the morning sun
They say you're leaving, but I can tell
Your leaving is already done.

I know this life ain't been easy
Sweating for every dime
But you're walking out on a woman that loves you
And honey that's something money can't buy.

If there's nothing I can say to change your mind
Change my heart.
If there's nothing I can do to change your mind
Change my heart.

You won't be coming home this evening.
Maybe you found someone new
I'm gonna hold on till midnight moves closer
Wrapped up in the misery of your blues

I've been listening to the voices in my head
Waiting for my date with the moon
maybe he'll save me from this desperation
And I'll be over you

If there's nothing I can say to change your mind
Change my heart.
If there's nothing I can do to change your mind
Change my heart.
