Jesse O’Handley is a singer song/writer from Cape Breton Island NS Canada. Jesse has been in the main frame of the music since she was 4 years old. Her first appearance as a singer was at the age of 8 singing solo in the local church. From that point on she was asked to sing at variety concerts, weddings and local children’s theater. Jesse’s first professional performance was at the age of 12 with a local country band. She performed with that band until she was 19. Then she started her own Country band called the Continentals, which played at many venues in the local and industrial area of Cape Breton .The band broke up after 3 years. Jesse then started created a variety of Pop, Rock bands that were will recognized in the area. With these bands she was the manager as well as lead singer and keyboard player. She then went on and made a couple of demo cd’s of her own music. This versatile singer/song writer has been in the music business for over 40 years. Her last performance as a solo artist was at the East Coast Music Awards in Feb 2005 in Sydney Cape Breton NS. She now has a two piece female band called Face2Face, that has a distinct venue of the fifties style music. With the dress apparel of the fifties and the act which she performs makes for a very entertaining and enjoyable evening of fun. Her fellow musician Samantha Currie brings with her a unique quality of professional manner that enhances this band. Jesse is performing her own songs with this band and is receiving great reviews. As a musician and a performer Jesse has been a constant reminder that a great singer/song writer only becomes good by time and a lot of work.
