Mellow Motif

Mellow Motif is a Jazz/Brazilian Jazz sextet of 5 from Thailand. Active in Thailand as well as in Asia, the band combines an original, playful sound with lighthearted arrangements, and has earned the respect from musicians, critics, and a loyal group of fans across Asia. Mellow Motif has released a total of 3 albums and 1  and continues to work tirelessly as an ambassador who raise the world’s awareness of Thailand as a place with a vibrant jazz culture, connecting and collaborating with musicians across the country and around the world. CNNgo has listed Mellow Motif as one ofBangkok's Top-20 People to Watch - listing Natasha and Eugene (Pianist) as “phenomenal musicians” who fuel the band's “well-deserved rise.”

Mellow Motif's major international appearances include ones at Singapore International Jazz Festival (2013) Thailand's Hua-Hin International Jazz Festival (2009, 2013), Singapore's CHIJazz Festival (2009), Singapore's KinestAsia by Timbre (2010), Malaysia's Miri International Jazz Festival (2010), Indonesia's Asean Jazz Festival (2010, 2011, 2012), the Jakarta's International Java Jazz Festival (2013), and China's Nanjing International Jazz and World Music Festival (2011). Mellow Motif has also participated in countless of music festivals of all scales within the country and at reputable jazz venues throughout SE Asia.

Mellow Motif 's third album "Ao Vivo!"(2015) is a live session/concert hybrid that invites you to experience what it feels like to be a part of an exclusive recording session where everything you hear in studio goes straight to the final CD/DVD. "Ao Vivo!" Live Concert/Recording Session took place at Studio28 Recording's gorgeous and brand new Live Room, designed by TEC Awards nominated Acoustic Designer - Jay Kaufman - for the ultimate listening experience.
