Mel Martinez is a 25 year old singer/songwriter from Orlando FL. When it comes to writing music, Mel is inspired by the songwriters who are responsible for the biggest hits in today's radio music. Mel started writing music at the age of 12, and is currently writing pop music in hopes of sharing it with the world. Mel is no stranger to the stage as he started performing at the age of 16, gaining the confidence to begin opening for well-known bands with the help of LFO's band-member Brad Fischetti. Mel began releasing his demos on Myspace at the age of 17, creating an admirable fan base he never expected. He has gained the support of a few people in the music industry such as New York-based Multi-Platinum record producer/songwriter Aaron Accetta. His fans ignite his lifelong love for singing and songwriting, and are a constant reminder of why it is his passion.
