Feeling a bit camera shy

Melody’s 3rd CD, Signs Of Trouble, is a blend of realism, showing the maturity of someone who knows the signs of trouble and has the strength and wisdom to move on. Melody has moved on, and has continued to write songs, reaching out to tell the stories of not only her own life’s lessons, but also of others who have special struggles.
The songs on this album have lessons learned and show triumph over problems that everyone can relate to, and show a new attitude that can only come from experience.

Melody’s heartfelt songwriting is honest and direct. Her unpretentious blend of country, blues provides the backdrop to explore her emotional quest for true love and self-discovery. From the first time you experience her music, she embraces you and welcomes you as a trusted friend, privileged to her darkest secrets and brightest joys.
Her songwriting draws comparisons to Lucinda Williams, Steve Earle, Mary-Chapin Carpenter, Kim Richey and Melissa Etheridge, but the voice and stories are all Melody Guy.

Melody is no stranger to the spotlight and has shared the stage with Sugarland, Tracy Lawrence, Martina McBride, Keith Urban, Aaron Tippin, Leon Russell, Andy Griggs, Chris LeDoux, Joe Diffie, The Warren Brothers, Nanci Griffith, Jim Messina, Dan Seals, Lee Ann Womack, Chad Brock, Steve Azar, Sheree Austin and Rosie Flores.. Her live performances are an impassioned mix of honesty and pure fun that make you feel like she’s playing and singing just for you.
