Bio
Soul Ja [aka Kevin Brown] is a native of Brooklyn New York. He began writing in 1985 beforre becoming a Christian. Kevin is inspired by the Lord to express the hop of His Glory through lyric and song.
Rightchuz [aka Tyrone Maxwell] is a native of Charleston, South Carolina. In 1985, he began rapping for secular events. Since salvation in 1987, Rightchuz has devoted himself to fulfilling the great commission- soul winning.
T-Roy [aka Letroy Brown] is also a native of Charleston. Letroy has been rapping and writing peotry since the age of 11. Since salvation in 1998, has been remaining in the will of God.
The primary influence has been the Spirit of the living God. A variety of artists have influenced the group but our own personal experiences and intimacy with Christ culminated into what now reflects the Membaz Own-Ly production. Finally, but importantly, is the influence of our Pastor Thomas W. Riley of World Overcomers Minsitries. A great man of God, Pastor Riley has added weight and depth to our music by preaching and teaching the Word of God with simplicity and understanding.
What set's M.O. apart from other groups is 'Charleston Flava'. No one can do it like we do it. You can only experience the difference that comes through passionate performance, and boastful deliverance that yields results for both believers and unbelievers alike.
