Dirty Villa

Dirty Villa consists of two artists (Memo and Kwayku) from Arlington, TX who came together to make urban hip hop music that reflects our society and the various aspects of life. Dirty Villa's music is lyric driven, from painting pictures to telling stories in their art, they push the boundaries on what contemporary hip hop music is limited to. The style they have grown to be comfortable with is refreshing and will rejuvenate the state of hip hop. Both artists have various influences ranging from Nas, BlackStar, Blu, Jay-Z, J Dilla, Kendrick Lamar, and many more in hip hop and other genres. Memo and Kwayku both have distinct styles of rap, but both are able to capture the essence of youthful but soulful music in a cohesive way, yet still maintaining their own unique sound. Dirty Villa prides themselves on musicianship, noting that both artists produce and write their own music with various equipments. When you think of Dirty Villa think Dope beats Dope Rhymes!
