"50 Cent Spotted In $795 Prada Nappa Leather High-Top Sneakers"

Rapper, actor and business tycoon Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson attended a charity event for 9/11 victim families in partnership with Century 21 and Tuesday’s Children at Century 21 downtown Manhattan location.

Century 21 co-owner and rocker Eddie Gindi – along with his band, Men in My Head and 50 Cent collaborated together to record a song, “Century Love“. Profits from the CD sales and downloads will benefit Tuesday’s Children, which supports programs and services for families of 9/11 victims.

For the appearance, Fif opted for a royal and black look – wearing a royal G-Unit cap, color-blocked sweater and black jeans topped off with $795 Prada Nappa Leather High-Top Sneakers.

These quilted nappa leather high top sneakers feature a leather upper, lace-up style with side zip, grip-tape ankle strap, leather lining, rubber sole, and padded insole. You can purchase them at Saks 5th Avenue. - Don Bleek

"50 Cent Partners With Century 21 To Record Song To Benefit 9/11 Families"

50 Cent is partnering up with Century 21 but not to sell clothes.

In an effort to raise money for programs and services for families affected by 9/11, the store’s CEO Eddie Gindi is working with the non-profit organization Tuesday’s Children. Fif is collaborating with Gindi’s band, Men In My Head, to record a song and all profits from the track will benefit the charity. The song, which is titled “Century Love,” will be available for purchase exclusively in the store on Nov. 11th.

“As a native New Yorker there is no city more resilient than New York,” 50 said in a statement. “Tuesday’s Children is an incredible organization and I am honored to be involved with this initiative.”

Gindi said the G-Unit captain is the best candidate for the collaboration.

“We are living our core value to give back and to bring passion, we’re able to do this with the help of entrepreneur and A-list musician 50 Cent,” said Gindi. “This year’s song “Century Love” is about the resilience of New York City and who better to partner with than a true New Yorker, like 50 Cent, who was born in Queens and rose to the top of the music world with hard work and dedication. We are so thankful that he is able to help Tuesday’s Children’s cause.”

To celebrate their partnership, an in-store event will be held at the lower level of the flagship store in New York City on Nov. 11th. The Queens spitter will be there not only signing autographs but showing off his SMS Audio headphones and threads from a clothing line called Frigo RevolutionWear that he is investing in. - All Hip Hop

Bio

  • The sound of Men In My Head is a mix of alternative rock and funk, with hints of blues and soul sprinkled in. Influences include all the classic bands that rocked the world over the years including artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Eric Clapton, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Beck, and the Killers. Front man, guitarist, and songwriter Eddie Gindi creates songs about life’s journey, relationships, happiness, sadness, challenges faced, and dreams not yet realized. For these rock aficionado’s, writing songs and playing original tunes is the ultimate satisfaction. As Eddie Gindi elegantly puts it, “There is no better feeling from when I first have an idea about a new song to when the band plays it for the first time and it comes to life.”

  • Always committed to delivering the best music possible to touch their fans, Men In My Head hope that their songs leave a lasting impression. “That’s the idea-- if we can touch someone’s heart and mind when they hear our music, if they start to dance and feel the vibe… its all we need to keep us playing,” explains Eddie.
