(Free-Press-Release.com) May 8, 2009 -- M&R International Music Group artist Menice received one of the highest rated awards Saturday April 25th in Buffalo NY from Jive Records and WBLK 93.7 Unsigned Hype. DJ DT hosted the show for the nominees and had a exceptional turn out in the town ballroom. Entertainment for the night included guest performances by Chrisette Michele, and a expected appearance by Genuine who was unable to attend do to problems in Chicago IL. Over all the experience was very exciting and peaceful. Hip Hop as of late has been carrying a violent history but the professionalism shown by all the nominees reminded us all that is more so the people not the music that creates violence. All the artist mingled in talk's of collaborating on a unsigned hype compilation and possibly putting a tour together for the summer of 09. Menice who has been making headlines and appearing on shows in the upstate NY region say's he believes this will be his year and M&R International Music Groups move to the top. When mentioning the recession he laughed and said I have been living along with everyone else who has struggled for years in a recession. This has really only been most difficult for those who had something to lose. Welcome to our side of the tracks and I wish you all well he say's with a smirk. Not cocky but very real is the only way I am able to explain this artist who has been exposing the world around to his very different character and style. I never have followed trends he says. I have my own style and swag and I believe most people respect that. In the near future Menice has a lot coming on his plate. Including appearances in Mississippi, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina and many more with events including showcases, tv/radio interviews, autograph signings and etc. 'This is only the beginning for me and M&R this year', Menice stated. He also stated that if artist's wanted to be successful you have to be committed to a long wait with a lot of hours. This is a 24/7 three hundred and sixty five day's a year commitment he say's. People who are serious about this industry need to understand that before they get into it! I have a lot of people working not with hope but knowing that the success has already began and that we are going to be even more busy now that we have hooked up with our publicist but we have all excepted that it takes a lot of work to make it to the position we want to be in by this time next year. M&R is going to be very busy with a new element added to the team. Menice along with there newly added R&B artist Sunih Reed are going to be a force to recon with. Menice himself stated that Sunih Reed's new album A Story To Tell is the best album he has heard in years in the R&B genre. He left the interview with a positive attitude and a shine about himself as Menice and his Manager Richard Baker from Platinum Millennium Management exited after talking to a rep from Jive at 12:32 am Sunday morning. More is soon to come from Menice and Sunih Reed.

Bio

Born Timothy Dollinger in Atlanta, Ga., At 17 He met a producer from New Orleans who had an ear for music. Together they started seeking talent for the label Menice had started with a friend.

After 4 years of performing and low on resources for his label, Menice decided to join the military in 2003. In the military he began working on his album after returning from Iraq while stationed in Hawaii. There he started performing as V.P. in the camp promoted by Stay Drunk Records. Artist associated with the label are Grimmy, Nutty, Unknown and J hussle.

Menice has also performed with BP Entertainment artist MOB, Bay Area CJ, Eleah Murder and Axe. He has also Performed with War Time Records artist Juan Pardo, Supa D, Keazy, and Mrs Liberty. Now residing in Rochester, N.Y., Menice has signed with GPP Global Music Entertainment in hopes of growing a worldwide fan base.

Menice has just completed shooting of his first major music video “The Way She Move”. The video can be seen on Menice’s myspace page and Nuplay.TV.

Menice's single 'I Get It' has climbed the charts reaching from as far as Australia, Canada, Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands and is still consistently gained momentum in the states debuting at # 9 the first week of his release on WBLK 93.7 UNSIGNED HYPE top ten charts. Over an eleven week countdown Menice consistently moved up the charts to #2 impressing the WBLK DJ's with the amount of support his single brought, not only to his single but to the UNSIGNED HYPE top ten countdown.
