Bio
Mental Warfare was a one-off (perhaps a two-off) project for Keiran Corrigall during his days living in an apartment off 17th Ave in Calgary, Canada.
Moving away from home at a young age, Keiran was unable to find accommodation for his drums or an isolated space to make noise. Instead he gained an experiential taste of Calgary's after hours nightlife.
Keiran first heard this genre of music at House Of Unity (later SubLink) events during the early-mid 90s. These events were hosted by Calgary event promoter and HardCore DJ, DJ Double D. DJ Double D, brought in many world renowned HardCore producers such as Nicky Fingers, Lenny Dee, Delta 9, and Traffic.
It was at these events that Keiran met DJ WackCutt of Golden, BC and TechnoCheek of Calgary. Keiran was immediately amalgamated as the third PGB or Phunkay Groove Brother. The PGBs, while a short lived act due to member relocations, provided much of the inspiration for TriHardCore.
These days Keiran is working on music under the name SuBPAR. While SuBPAR is a project with a more organic and musical focus, it retains the brash electronic influences that made THC sound like a synestheticized warm cotton ball of happiness.
