Mercury Slim is a Singer/songwriter from Santa Fe, New Mexico. Slim moved to LA in January of 2017.His influences range across the spectrum of music Jim Morrison, Amy Winehouse, Lauryn Hill, Nina Simone, Tracy Chapman, Screamin Jay Hawkins, Jeff Buckley and Kendrick Lamar to name a few. His sound is blend of R&B, Rock and Pop with a unique, authentic and soulful intensity and style that blends the old with the new. He is currently working on his debut EP.
Mercury Slim Is Songwriter Brad Edwards' vessle for vessel and exploring his human experience and the experience of others with the occasional cover or reinterpretation of songs new and old. Slim began writing songs for the hardcore bands he was drumming for in his mid and late teens but was never able to shake the feeling that he had something more to say, a voice to be herd. So in 2013 he began writing and arranging his own songs and performing all over Albuquerque and Santa Fe, NM.
