This new Quebec City quartet, Mercury City, presents a surprising first opus. Produced by Canadian producer Trevor Kustiak (Evans Blue, Rains & Vaeda) and mixed by Mark Makoway (David Usher, Crash Parallel & Evans Blue), Mercury City brings us a beautiful collection of songs that speak to the heart.
Their music exalts human feelings, pain, happiness, hope and describes the relationships with our fellow human beings, sometimes denouncing their excesses.
Bruno along with his band mates, Allan, Philippe and Simon, bring their own musical universe that flirts with the rhythmic sounds of rock and pop; sometimes playful, sometimes melancholy but always energetic.
Their song “Between Us” was played on MTV’s “Real World Cancun” on July 1st. A couple of weeks later, Mercury City signed their first publishing deal with an important Los Angeles based company called Pacifica Music.
Their first single, “I’ll Be There”, started playing all across Canada a month ago and its climbing up the charts. The band will be on tour all year long and they’re looking forward to meet their fans.
Mercury City's first self-titled album is exclusively available on iTunes, Palmares.ca, Zik.ca & Select Digital since August 4th. The album will be officially released (PHYSICAL CD) by their new record label “ Big Fat Truck ” at the end of the year.
