Mercury Sky

Hey, MERCURY SKY is a local band from Fairfield/New Canaan. The members of MERCURY SKY have had several other experiences in bands. Max, The lead guitarist and singer came from bands such as Mortal Covenant and Manifold. Max is a songwriter as well as a singer. His influences are bands such as A7X, Paparoach, Atreyu, Three Days Grace, Chevelle, Trust Company and Bullet For My Valentine. Chris, and the other Max have played in a band known as The Network. Chris's influences are bands such as Breaking Benjamin, Sevendust and The Foo Fighters. Chris is an amazing drummer who has been playing for a long time. Hes been rockin' out on drums for about 5 years. Though sometimes unreasonable, he manages to sink in with his band members. We recently got a new guitarist named Mark. Mark has proven to have great determination and has become a pretty good guitarist over the past year. His influences are mostly Atreyu, Bullet For My Valentine, Joe Satriani, and Steve Vai. Max is a great bassist and great at making up unique basslines. Max's influences are band such as The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Led Zeppellin, and Green Day. MERCURY SKY, so far in their career as musicians has shared the stage with Simple Fracture, Ballet for athletes, The Limit, The Second Sunrise, Joe's Soup, Changing Direction and Burnt Toast.

Most fans of Mercury Sky describe theyre unique sound as a heavy alternative sound. The fans say Mercury Sky's originality, has a Three Days Grace/ Staind sound to it.
