Merk Rock

Born in Corpus Christi, Texas. but raised in S.A., Texas 'til the age of 12yrs. old, Merk*Rock witnessed a lot. Coming back to "Tha Crooked" 'cause of a dope-case his father had caught, he stayed w/ his 3 sibblings, 2 brothers & 1 younger sister. He was a middle child who was always creative w/ art & music. With a drug-addict as a mother & a father who was always doing time, he had no choice but to turn to the streets. By the time he was 15yrs. old, he was abandoned by his mother & was left to rome the streets of Corpus.

Influenced by art & street flavor he became one of the dopest graffiti-artist of all time to hit this city (bet that). After catching a major felony case over catching mad-fame in the graff-scene, Merk*Rock was giving 5yrs. probation but violated after awhile & served 2yrs. outta his life doing time too(2003 & 2005). In between that time period he made a grip of freestyle tapes to cd's that he did w/ his good-friend K.$moov & also started a group called Gudda Boiz w/ fellow partner J.Cas formerly known as B4.

With the 2 of them together they began to work on music. The 1st mixtape "B4 Da Storm" dropped while servin' time in prison, so Merk*Rock never had the chance to witness the success or feel for "The Hu$tle" to pushing the mixtape out.

Now that he's out & on the go, he's done put out the following mixtapes...B4 DA STORM, GUNPLAY VOL., HOOD REBEL & his freshest...MERKY WATERZ. He's truly as RAW as they come, working w/ artists, such as ROB G., LIVEOLA, GT-GARZA, 50/50 TWIN, FLATLINE, SMOKE-BEATZ, GOTTI-GANG, RUSSELL LEE & some. He continues to spread the word of the GUDDA & speaks as a spokesman for the streets, the hood. You'll be seeing & hearing a lot of him........so peep game!
