Merlin "Merlie Merle" Milton was born june 6 1990 and raised in the city of Detroit. Grew up listening to artist such as Nas, Slim Shady, Big L, Jay Z, Biggie, Ice Cube, and 8 Ball and MJG. Merle started off writing poetry and spoken word at 15. once he entered high school music in general began to take a big place in his life. At the age of 16 he began to take his music very seriously, recording music and also producing his own music. ever since then he has made a great influence on the underground music scene in Detroit. Some claim him to be one of the most underrated producers and artist in the city of detroit. with the production style of Tribe Called Quest and old school Ski Beatz and the rapping style of a modern day version of all his influences he is bound to make a great impact in this industry.
