Get ready-Her appearance betrays the volcano that lies beneath her poised exterior. Sweet refrains, melodic runs give way to full blown power-she gives everything she's got-you won't believe it. Just Listen and come on in!

Biography

With the transistor radio under her pillow, she learned how to sweetly maneuver the lead vocals and harmonies from Motown to Blue Note, pop, rock and jazz. From growling Janis Joplin and Led Zeppelin in the day to crooning Funny Girl and torch songs, Merribeth shares her history with audiences-what we go through gets us to where we are now.

A powerhouse voice, classically trained but beat-inspired, her fresh delivery will propel you into a higher dimension, then soothe you into a sweet lullaby to the Holy Spirit. "My blues has turned into Worship and Praise!"

Merribeth is His instrument, and conveys the love and passion that is our God's essence! Enjoy her here, where she sings impromptu with V. Michael McKay in concert with Houston Mass Choir of the GMWA:

Lyrics

A Love Like This

Written By: Chamberlain/Deaton/Laird

A love like this was never known before Calvary-
A precious love that would overlook the worst in me-
You looked down from eternity, and saw something good in me,
No one could ever love like Jesus-

This love You give is greater than I have ever known-
Your prtecious grace has lifted me and made me whole-
My love for You has made me see-Your mercy, so sweet and free
No one has ever loved like Jesus

Love, love so faithful - Love, Love. I'm grateful to You, Lord
You looked down from eternity and saw something good in me-
No one could ever love like Jesus

War Cry

Written By: Micah Stampley

I hear the sound of a voice crying out in the wilderness,
I hear the sound of a voice, it sounds like thunder!
This is a war cry-calling all of the warriors!
We must stand as a people filled with His light!

The creator is waiting for us to acknowledge Him,
So I will sing and I will shout till He returns for me and you
We must kneel down and reverence His presence,
He is faithful, He is just and deserving of all glory!

Oh, we're waiting on our Savior,
Oh, we're waiting on our King,
Oh, we're waiting on our Master,
And while we wait, You are our everything!

I hear the sound of a voice crying out in the wilderness,
I hear the sound of a voice, it sounds like thunder!
This is a war cry-calling all of the warriors!
We must stand as a people filled with His light!

Prepare ye the way of the Lord!

He Looked Beyond My Faults And Saw My Need

Written By: Dottie Rambo

Amazing grace will always be my song of praise,
For it was grace that bought my liberty,
I shall never know, just how You came to love me so,
He looked beyond my faults and saw my need.

I shall forever lift my eyes to Calvary,
To view the cross where Jesus died for me,
How marvelous His grace that caught my falling soul!
He looked beyond my faults and saw my need!
