Inside My Home

Written By: Merryn Lamb

Inside My Home

I'm so cold out here I stand knee deep in memories
Which chills me to the bone
Then you say come inside, it's warm in here away from fear
Leave your troubles at the door
And I will take them all

Come into my house 'cause it's your home
Welcome to a love that's yours to own
You will find shelter from life's storms
Inside my home
Inside my home

I've been forgiven and I've been set free
Your walls of grace surrounding me
You both precede and follow me
Your roof of love, it covers me
You cover me

Come into my house 'cause it's your home
Welcome to a love that's yours to own
You will find shelter from life's storms
Inside my home
Inside my home

Now I understand this place that is my home
It is my heart, it is my soul
And never, ever will I be alone
You're by my side and we are home
We are home

Come into my house 'cause it's your home
Welcome to a love that's yours to own
You will find shelter from life's storms
Inside my home
Inside my home

Should

Written By: Merryn Lamb

Should

My life is good and then the should comes back
Like I should have done this and I should have done that
And I should know better than talk like that
‘Cause the moment is fine and it’s what I’ve got

I’ve been down and feeling out
Been so happy that my heart could shout
But I love and I am loved
And really that is more than enough

Then I find myself wanting what the Jones have
Or see the grass a bit greener where I’m not at
And I should know better than to feel like that
Enough is never enough when you’re filling that trap

I’ve been down and feeling out
Been so happy that my heart could shout
But I love and I am loved
And really that is more than enough

Moonlit Sky

Written By: Merryn Lamb

Moonlit sky

If I had a dollar for every kind word that you'd said

I’d buy a rocket and take me out of my head

Wish on every star as I pass the galaxies

Send you a moonbeam, which you’d climb up to me

Chorus

And we’d dance in craters in the moonlit sky

You’d laugh and say I’m a crazy child

We’d dance all day and through the night

As moon dust makes everything all right – everything’s all right

If I had a dollar for every teardrop ever cried

I’d build a golden castle on my moon up in the sky

And I’d be the queen of happiness and make my moonstruck plans

There’s be no war or poverty, pain or sickness

Chorus

Bridge

Do you hear me? Do you see me beyond the clouds?

Do you know me? Will you show me beyond a doubt?
