Merv Hartlen is a big kid at heart. He's the "little brother" of the Canadian comedy scene, forever riding in the middle seat and taking charlie horses from his elders, even when they are younger than him.
Hailing from Halifax, Nova Scotia, this pure blooded Haligonian has been performing stand up in Toronto and across Eastern Canada for the last 3 years, all the while attempting to overcome his crippling fear of dogs.
Sustaining himself on mostly cartoons and candy, Merv's one-man-show Merv'n Out! gained a cult-like following at the Atlantic Fringe Festival. He's performed at the Halifax Pop Explosion, can be seen on Eastlink Television, and heard on Sirus XM "Laugh Attack".
