He is a romantic balladeer, his show is exciting, his presence magnetic and the delivery of his baritone voice is addictive. You will want to hear more..... Malcolm has enjoyed 35 years of performing for various occasions here in Canada and overseas as well..
During his performance Malcolm takes you into an era of Louis Armstrong, Elvis Presley, Tom Jones, Frank Sinatra to Bee Gees and Michael Jackson to name a few.. His vocal impersonations bewilder many an audience who insist on checking to confirm he is not lip synching!!
Malcolm to his credit has been a band leader of a six piece band that played at the most elite 2 hotels for 14 years, six nights a week in India.. His effect on the listener is mesmerizing. His solid rhythm, effortless voice and contagious smile combine to draw the audience to the sight and sound of a man who loves what he does.
The Malcolm Edwards Showband are an entertaining group of musicians, performing with Malcolm Edwards are Francis Fernandes as the lead guitarist, Francis’ guitar can sing out Santana to Bob Marley to calypso to Shadows and Ventures. Rock n roll and Blues never sounded better when Francis starts to sing, Russ Strathdee on sax .. the sounds of Russ’ saxophone. is rich, one-of-a-kind tapestry of samba, jazz and salsa, ballads and bossa nova, all of which are held together by beautiful melodies of Russ’ signature sound, who often caresses melodies, putting a lot of emotion into his solos
