Bio

Messages of Ennui is a quartet based out of Methuen, Massachusetts influenced by artists The Smashing Pumpkins, Pink Floyd, Coheed and Cambria and Caspian. MoE brings to the table and Alt. Rock sound with Electronic mixes and Jazz/Blues improv to catch all interests of many different ears.
MoE was first started by Christian Shubert-Michaud and Stephen Willet in 2011. Over the first couple years, MoE was facing ups and downs with band members coming in and going out frequently, while facing addictions of different kinds in the process. After two years in the making, drummer David Ryan joined the group in 2013. In the course of 5 months, the new trio released and performed their singles 'My, How the Impact' and 'The Rise and Fall' on local college stations as well as Internet Radio nationally. While headlining Hard Rock Cafe in Boston and jumping around the Boston circuit, in June of 2013 bassist Sean Barrows joined the group. The quartet are now heading into the studio to record their debut EP while performing around New England in support of their singles.
