in 1998, 3 multi-instrumentalists and producers met in the LA electronic and pop scene looking to form a production team to release original material with various artists. Together they formed ROCAsound Productions. ROCAsound houses a professional recording studio as well as writing suites for the members. We began writing for Dorado records artist "Outside", then went on to work with Chaka khan, Common, Santana, Jody Watley, Vikter Duplaix, OM records, and Sting. The result of years of remixing and writing for various artists created the need for a band called "Messertraum". It encompasses everything that's lacking in the DJ/Electronic scene. Real jazz musicians who write hooky pop songs produced with hard beats and eclectic moog and vintage sounds. We want to be the Pink Floyd of Electronica. On our debut EP we have collaborations with Jon Anderson from YES, and Jazzanova's Vikter Duplaix.
