Bio

Messiah of None originally formed in the summer of 2006 with DJ on bass and Ash on drums under the name of "Autumn Scars", but after a few months or so of jamming with countless guitarists, DJ wasn't feeling the vibe and decided to leave. Soon after, Ash recruited Jasper and 2 other guys who were in the band for a while... and in the beginning of January 2007, DJ returned, but this time as the singer. 6 months or so later the band parted ways with Ash, recruited Trev on drums and changed the name to Messiah of None. In late July of 2008 after many well recieved live shows including supporting welsh reggae-metallers Skindred, the band parted ways with the other guitarist and downsized to a 4 piece with DJ taking on guitar as well as the vocals.

Also since the departure of our last drummer Trev, our good friend Simon (who has since been dubbed 'Messiahmon') joined the band in May 2009 after helping us out with gigs for nearly a year while we were looking for a replacement. We had written some killer songs with Simon and it only made sense he joined Messiah full time. In April 2010 one of Simon's closest friends 'Big' Chris Gilday helped us out playing live and we really clicked...soon after it was a foregone conclusion and joined the band in the May

Each member has a different take on heavy music as well as their own influences, combined decades of touring, recording and live experiences. Where ever Messiah play, they usually end up being the highlight of the night, often the loudest too. Many people compliment the band members after the shows often citing 'what you guys do isn't even my cup of tea but you were bloody amazing'
