Messiane

The roots of MESSIANE were formed in 2005 when founders Finn Creaney and Dean Kernaghan met for the first time. The sound was raw, like a young Pantera thriving on intense speed and groove with an electric show. The talented boys gained much local success with a mix of covers, rehersed original material and some informal jamming. In late 2010 early 2011 the band fully formed with drummer Laurence Johnson and bassist Matt Cooper, recording and releasing their first self produced E.P "Shadows". In late 2011 the band started to gain much positive online interest and MESSIANE are now ranked #1 in the Reverbnation Charts for Metal in Inverness. 2012 seeing the release of "Down" the band's second self produced E.P. The band choosing to refer to the new recordings as the "demo tapes" similar to the Nirvana demo tapes of the late 80s, raw, unpredictable and ready to be taken to the next level.
