METALOURD was originally based in Salem Ohio but later moved to youngstown and became one of the areas premier bands in the late 80's and early 90"s . With the appearance of grunge metalourd stuck to their guns playing smaller and underground clubs. But.... METALOURD is now back with a vengeance playing predominately in the Cleveland , Canton , Alliance and Salem areas.We are now ready to get back into the Youngstown SCENE AND GET BACK TO BEING AN AREA LEADER AGAIN! METALOURD has opened for bands , such as QUIET RIOT , TESTAMENT , DEVILDRIVER,KREATOR just to name a few..(trust me there is more ;) OUR MUSIC IS METAL! we do have our own distinct sound and when you hear or see us you know your listening to METALOURD!!
