EAST MEETS WEST
Israel’s Metal Scent is like a breath of fresh air for the rock and metal fan. Metal Scent’s Nir Cinamon, Rami Salmon, Dror Yakar and Ronen Ziony grew up appreciating the influences of bands and artists that metal fans may not typically relate to metal music, i.e. Jose Feliciano, The Boxtops, Tom Jones and Neil Sedaka. What makes Metal Scent unique is the creativity and extraordinary musicianship involved in flavoring classic and new material. Metal Scent utilizes a style of metal-influenced guitar riffs and harmonies, and Mediterranean influences heard in beat, instrumentation and wide-range vocals. There is something different for everyone on their upcoming CD, Everybody.
SONGS FROM THE SOUL
There are 5 original songs written by band members Nir Cinamon, Dror Yakar, Rami Salmon, and Ronen Ziony along with contributions from songwriters Stephany Davis (Running Free) and Mike Rigen (Falling So Deep).
SOMETHING FOR EVERYBODY
This artistic concept differs from a remake album due to its partnership with the original artists, creating an interesting merge of current and future fans. The songs produced in this project represent the icon of some of the most unforgettable and classic material in the hearts and souls of present and past generations of music lovers. With this concept, we expect that many of these classics will re-emerge as new hit songs.
