Biography

Methods of Doubt (aka: Meth.o.D.) is a band from Miami, Fl. The band was born from the ashes of local band Overflow, which consisted of current bassist Mike Peña, Drummer Will Vargas, Guitarist Danny Valdes, and then vocalist Willy Priegues. In early 2006, Priegues parted ways with the band and the remaining members, deciding to remaining an intrumental band, formed Methods of Doubt.

Meth.o.D.'s music is a frenzied instrumental amalgamation that draws influence from metal, prog, hardcore, hiphop, jazz, fusion, funk, and mathamatics. Other influences include film and television, books, George Carlin, Mitch Hedberg, the sounds of heavy machinery, and philosophy, to name a few.

Meth.o.D. has played numerous shows through out the South Florida area. The band's rowdy and high-energy performances are highly unperdictable, with the band being known to bring members of the crowd on-stage to improv vocals on their instrumentals and, and on ocassion have been to throw down an impromtu jam session which can sometimes stretch upwards of 15 minutes.

Discography

Meth.o.D. is currently finishing up the recording and mixing of their debut LP at Choice Blend Multimedia, the studio owned by bassist Mike Peña and the rest of the band. It is planned for release in Summer of '08.

Set List

Our typical set list normally runs between 30-45 intense minutes of frenzied aural assaults, although it can stretch beyond an hour if we start jamming.
