Miasma began as a song-writing collaboration between Alex Auld-smith and Michael Davidson in 2007. Fuelled with a disatisfaction of the current popular music scene combined with a desire to write original music, Miasma's sound is a unique blend of alternative/pop/rock drawing influence from the likes of Radiohead and Jeff Buckley. The addition of drummer Dom Hardy and bassist Rob Macneacail in 2009 has added an exciting and energetic dynamic to live performances. Recent activity has seen Miasma writing and recording songs for their first, self produced full length album which will be available Summer 2011.
