Micah Manaitai is an artist, producer, and songwriter originally from Guam but raised in St. Louis, Missouri. Drawing his influences primarily from indie, R&B, and the music of the Pacific islands, Micah has always been working to bridge the gap between two cultures that struggle to coexist both within his own personal identity and in the greater musical community: that of the mainland and that of its oft-forgotten sibling island. His pursuit reflects a deeply thoughtful and engaged process of experimenting with unusual combinations of electronic and acoustic sounds and exploring his experiences as a multi-cultural musician through the unique storytelling that music affords.
