Born and raised in Florida and now living in Canada, Micah began realizing his gifts of music at an early age. A self-taught musician of great instrumental versatility, as well as a multi-award winning Singer Songwriter, Micah has conquered seemingly insurmountable odds to accomplish his goals.
An Independent Artist that has been noted from day one as “Original”, Micah has quickly made a name for himself as a force that can’t be stopped. Being played repeatedly on European, American and also Canadian Radio, this artist is proving that his motto of “Never Say Never,” is more than just a guideline for life.
A graduate from the highly acclaimed Music Industry Arts program in London Ontario, Micah’s first album, “To Live” was released this past summer and has received several awards including; “Singer/Songwriter of the Year”, through the Canadian Songwriters Association, “Songwriter of the year & Artist Scholarship”, through the Haydain Neale Memorial Foundation, “Digital Media Distribution Award” through R.D.R. Music Group, “Directors Award” from Paramount Music Group, and was nominated “Singer/Songwriter of the Year” through London’s Scene Magazine’s London Music Awards.
During the release of “To Live”, Micah was requested to conduct a World Radio Album Premier through “myFM” stations across Ontario. All 15 of their Stations aired the entire album as well as a thirty minute interview. The premier in total was over an hour of airtime. It was recorded and repeatedly aired for 6 consecutive Sundays During the radio premier, 13 countries tuned in as well as organized listening parties in their area, in order to hear the much anticipated album.
A Singer/Songwriter who truly is destined to shine, not with the intention of idolization, but rather to bring hope back to the hopeless situation many call life. An inspiring artist that finds his true inspiration in the broken pieces that he envisions as a whole. Like a kaleidoscope, Micah see's the world through Jesus' eyes, creating beauty from what others consider broken.
