When 18 year-old Micah Kiyo walks into the room,the atmosphere becomes ethereal. Her bright eyes barely contain her infectious joy and her dancing eyes make you want to hear the music she’s obviously hearing in her head. You want to see what she’s got. And she’s got a lot.

Micah Kiyo is poised to be this generation’s Janet Jackson, but with her
own flavor, and with a work ethic that underscores her Asian and African-American lineage. She aptly coins the phrase, Urban Pop in describing her music style during her performance.
