Micah | Michelle

Micah | Michelle, comprised of husband and wife team, Micah and Michelle Woody, are very excited to announce the release of their first album, "Sharpened In Time". Working with producer Mitch Dane, they recorded the tracks at Mitch's studio, Sputnik Sound, in Nashville.

Michelle, born and raised in Alabama, and Micah, an Oregon born/California native, met in 2002 on a summer-long trip to Latin America where they were doing volunteer work. It was there that they recognized the same passion for music in each other and began a friendship that has now become a marriage of 6 years. Since the start, they've been leading worship together, writing, and dreaming of one day recording their music together to share with the world.

The title track of "Sharpened In Time" is a song celebrating both the ease and joy of marriage, as well as the refining/sharpening process that occurs. Taken from the concept of the Proverb, "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another", the couple felt that this title also seemed to fit the album as whole, describing songs that speak of God using circumstances, people, and His Holy Spirit to "sharpen" us and make us more like Him. You can see this concept displayed in the album's cover art as well.
