Bio

Micah Schnabel is the singer/songwriter for the band, Two Cow Garage,
which he started in 2001 at the age of 19 with friend, Shane Sweeney
in Columbus, Ohio. Building their foundation in the basements of the
MidWest, over the past 10 years, Two Cow Garage has internationally
released five records while continuing to build their fanbase
nationally and overseas . January 3rd marks the release of
Schnabel's second solo record, "I'm Dead, Serious", which will be
released on Suburban Home Records. Playing the majority of the
instruments himself, Schnabel spent 5 days in Eden, New York recording
"I'm Dead, Serious". It is a record of love
and death and the pain and questions that come with both.

Being fortunate to have been able to tour the United States
many times over, along with multiple European tours, Schnabel has
spent his entire adult life on the road. Averaging 200 shows a year
since he was 20 years old, he has been standing on the outside of
adulthood looking in. Filling notebooks with the up's, down's, and
heartache's that come with this nomadic lifestyle.

With influences ranging from John Prine, Tom Waits, The Band,
to Alkaline Trio, and The Hold Steady, his aggressive, lyricly
rooted, folk songs are the tales of travelers, lovers ,and losers,
akin to Bruce Springsteen or Craig Finn.

Schnabel has had the opportunity to tour with The Hold Steady,
Cheap Girls, Drag the River, and Franz Nicolay. He has also shared
the stage with the likes of Lucero, Eagles of Death Metal, Smoking
Popes, Chuck Ragan, and many more.

2012 will bring extensive solo touring supporting "I'm Dead,
Serious", along with a new Two Cow Garage record.
