Bio
He is one of the most exciting country artists to come out of the Lone Star Sate in many years! Born and raised in Dripping Springs, Texas, Michael began singing with his grandpa in church and at special events. With encouragement and support from his family, friends and a growing multitude of fans. With an awesome voice and great material, his name is becoming familiar all across Texas. Hall of Fame swing fiddler Johnny Gimble said "When Michael sings, it hits you right in the gut! The last time I was impressed this way with an upcoming talent was when I first heard Merle Haggard."
Michael's debut CD "Living for the Moment" recorded, using only top musicians including Johnny Gimble, Floyd Domino, Danny Levin, Dick Gimble, and Rick McRae. The songs were new creations by award winning songwriter, Allen Shamblin, from Nashville.
Michael's sophomore album, Pedernales Summer came out in 2002 and is an 11 song album of all original material.
His latest release was a 5 song EP of original music released in late 2018 titled Mentions of a Muse.
Michael has appeared with Tracy Byrd, the Bellamy Brothers, John Conlee, Ray Price, Bruce Robison, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Larry Gatlin and many more.
