On this rookie EP effort, Michaela shines like a seasoned veteran.

Biography

Michaela Grace Norton was born in 1995 on opening day at Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts and moved to Dallas, Texas when she was six years old. From a young age music has been an immense source of happiness and inspiration for Michaela. According to her family she was singing before she could talk and writing before she learned cursive.

Her singing career began at the tender age of four when she gave an “after concert” on the family picnic cooler singing Shania Twain’s “Man I Feel Like a Woman” at Crane’s Beach Castle in Ipswich, Massachusetts.

When she was eight she won her first talent competition singing Reba McIntyre’s “Why Haven’t I Heard From You” in the all school talent show and she hasn’t stopped singing and writing since.

During the summer of 2012 Michaela was introduced to Keith Follese by Jason Davis, Founder of One One Seven Media. She was invited to Nashville to co write and record 4 songs with Keith who has written for Faith Hill, Marina McBride, Tim McGraw and Lady Antebellum. Infinite, produced by Keith Follese, is the outcome of that session and her debut EP.

Michaela Grace is thrilled about her infinite, boundless opportunities to make people happy and thoughtful through her music. She is thankful for the opportunity she has been given to work with some of the best in the business and hopes you enjoy her music.

While country music is her passion, she enjoys all music, particularly folk, and as she continues to develop look for hints of these influences in her work.

If Only Hearts Could Talk

Written By: Michaela Grace

Sixty-seven years
That’s how long it’s been
From the Second World War
To countless grandchildren
From black and white TV
To rockets in the sky
They watched the world change
As the years flew by

It’s hard for me to grasp or even fathom
So when I go to their house, I just imagine

If only hearts could talk
If only walls could speak
The stories that they’d tell
Of memories that they keep
All the life they’ve lived
All the love they’ve shared
From the moment that they met
Throughout their golden years
If I had the key, the secrets they’d unlock
If only hearts could talk

A soldier in the war
When he met a nurse
It only took one look
Ain’t it funny how God works

It’s hard for me to grasp or even fathom
The way it must have been back when it happened

If only hearts could talk
If only walls could speak
The stories that they’d tell
Of memories that they keep
All the life they’ve lived
All the love they’ve shared
From the moment that they met
Throughout their golden years
If I had the key, the secrets they’d unlock
If only hearts could talk

All the life they’ve lived
All the love they’ve shared
From the moment that they met
Throughout their golden years
If I had the key, the secrets they’d unlock
If only hearts could talk

I Knew You'd Come Around

Written By: Michaela Grace

Left me in a pile of rubble
Boy, you burst my bubble
When you kissed my cheek and walked away
Got a teardrop in my eye
Couldn’t bring myself to cry
Knew you’d come running back someday
You’re gonna be so sorry

I knew you’d come around like that sweater that I found
That doesn’t fit, and I hate it anyway
I knew you’d try to kiss me with a story how you missed me
Yeah boy, I knew you’d come around
But I don’t need you now
No, I don’t need you now

Bet you thought I’d wait forever
And I would’ve, but I never
Took the time to miss you being gone
My girlfriends kept me busy
And then there’s that boy Billy
He sure is cute, so so long
I bet you’re really sorry

I knew you’d come around like that sweater that I found
That doesn’t fit, and I hate it anyway
I knew you’d try to kiss me with a story how you missed me
Yeah boy, I knew you’d come around
But I don’t need you now
No, I don’t need you now

I know you thought the grass was greener, rolled the dice, a change of scenery
Well it just blew up before your eyes

I knew you’d come around like that sweater that I found
That doesn’t fit, and I hate it anyway
I knew you’d try to kiss me with a story how you missed me
Yeah boy, I knew you’d come around
But I don’t need you now
No, I don’t need you now
I’m better off somehow
Cause I don’t need you now

Great Big Crush

Written By: Michaela Grace

You were tall, you were dark, you were handsome
You were strong, you were smart, and then some
And I was floored the day you asked me
But now I know just what you’re all about

I wasted three weeks, two days, and more then a million heart beats
Pictures, paper
Thinking that you were so sweet
And I can’t believe I thought it might be love
And that I took the time to waste a great big crush on you
A crush on you, WooHoo

I was blinded by the flowers and your sweet lies
I was caught up in the sunset and green eyes
If it looks to good, it probably isn’t true
Should of thought of that the first time I kissed you

I wasted three weeks, two days, and more then a million heart beats
Pictures, paper
Thinking that you were so sweet
And I can’t believe I thought it might be love
And that I took the time to waste a great big crush on you
A crush on you, WooHoo

You’re not worth not one little dream, not one little tear, not one little anything
You’re just a temporary slip I made, hey hey

I wasted three weeks, two days, and more then a million heart beats
Pictures, paper
Thinking that you were so sweet
And I can’t believe I thought it might be love
And that I took the time to waste a great big crush on you
A crush on you
A crush on you
A crush on you

Because of You

Written By: Michaela Grace

I met you in the strangest place
Call it luck or call it fate
When I didn’t know
Which way to go
You smiled at me like you just knew
This temporary shade of blue
Was just a phase
Along the way
You said one day I’d just look back and laugh
Yeah

We’re different as the day and night
Opposites like black and white
I see a mountain high
You say take a step and try
I like the way you paint the truth
Nothing seems impossible to do
All because of you
All because of you

You never talk about yourself
What you went through
The tears that fell
You keep it locked
Inside a box
You found a way to just move on
The faith you have has made me strong
You gave that to me
Unselfishly
You taught me how to live and not look back
Yeah

We’re different as the day and night
Opposites like black and white
I see a mountain high
You say take a step and try
I like the way you paint the truth
Nothing seems impossible to do
All because of you
All because of you

And I can’t imagine where I’d be
And I hope I give you
What you give me

We’re different as the day and night
Opposites like black and white
I see a mountain high
You say take a step and try
I like the way you paint the truth
Nothing seems impossible to do
All because of you
All because of you
All because of you
All because of you
