Multi-talented and multi-lingual, Michael Barimo connects with audiences, whether in a classical salon setting or nightclub. He thrills fans with a unique whistling approach to both virtuosic operatic arias as well as original pop music. The universality of whistling influences Michael as a singer/songwriter where he has garnered over 180k Facebook fans across the world. His pop music appeals to a wide range of ages and nationalities.

Michael has performed in venues around the US, UK, Italy and Japan, highlights including performances at: Alice Tully Hall, Weill Recital Hall, The London Zoo, Walt Disney World, The Cutting Room, MSC Poesia, and NYU Skirball Center. He has been the featured performer at galas for The Puccini Foundation, The Gerda Lissner Foundation, Career Bridges, IBLA Grand Prize, National Italian American Foundation, and the Italian Legion of Merit.
Michael's music attracts press: He has been featured in the New York Times, Time Out Singpore, Sydney Morning Herald, Corriere della Sera, The Huffington Post, Sports Illustrated, BBC News, and Giornale di Sicilia. Michael is also the whistling star of BBC's children's program, Third and Bird, which airs in over 30 countries and is currently the number two children's program in the UK.

Last week Michael was the featured musical guest for David Tutera of WE TV's, and will be the featured performer for Henri Landwirth's Give Kids the World 25th anniversary gala on June 1.
Michael's upcoming show dates include 11 Italian Festivals across Illinois, Wisconsin, Nevada and California, as well as a tour of Jakarta and Surabaya, Indonesia in September.
