Michael Berg

In February of 2008, mastering was completed on Michael's first solo record, "Lights Down", produced by David J (Bauhaus, Love and Rockets). The LP features lush string arrangements by Tom Vos, drumming by Michael Jerome (John Cale and Richard Thompson Bands), and pedal steel guitar by Dave Scher (touring keyboardist for Interpol). In December of 2008 Michael played an acoustic set at the Roxy Theatre on the Sunset Strip, opening for David J and Johnette Napolitano (Concrete Blonde). Other solo gigs include Safari Sam's (LA), the Cafe du Nord (SF), and the Shadow Bar (Barcelona). In March 2008 Michael performed in David J's musical theatre project "Silver for Gold - The Odyssey of Edie Sedgwick" on lead guitars and backing vocals; he was also in these roles for the studio CD recording of the same name. Currently Michael is playing several shows in the US while preparing for a number of gigs in Italy and Eastern Europe in September to support the release of the "Lights Down" album.
