Michael Brandmeier is an authentic, acoustic pop artist who's music is being heard around the globe. His song SO THEY MAY MARRY will be featured in the Indie Film called "FLANNEL PAJAMAS" which premiered at THE SUNDANCE MUSIC FESTIVAL, 2006. A song off Michael's upcoming CD due this spring was just featured on the brand new series on ABC FAMILY called BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE. His songs have also been on QUEER EYE FOR THE STRAIGHT GUY & MTV's THE REAL WORLD and the CBS hit series JOAN OF ARCADIA, The WB's hit TV series DAWSON'S CREEK which is now in syndication worldwide, NBC'S hit soap opera, PASSION'S, a PARAMOUNT/Shannon Elizabeth movie called DYING TO LIVE & more.

TRUSONIC RETAIL PROGRAMMERS, which is a music service provider for RETAIL stores all around the globe, has announced AAA/POP singer/songwriter, MICHAEL BRANDMEIER, as the number one played Independent Artist in 2004 & 2005. Artists and bands are ranked by play frequency and (TRUSONIC ROYALTIES). Michael's "PERFECT POP" as Tim Ward the Director of Music Programming calls it, averaging 5000-8000 plays a day.
Also, is "cry for help song" called I'm All Right (Help Me), off the upcoming
September, 2003 CD "CRAZY WORLD" was named the SONG OF THE YEAR by the INDEPENDENT MUSIC AWARDS in the FILM/TV category and is included the The WB's DAWSON'S CREEK make
your own soundtrack and will be on the SEASON TWO DVD release along with another
song of his, "ONCE AGAIN". Dawson's Creek still airs in
over 35 countries. As well as in the PARTY OF FIVE DVD release of Season One set for May, 2004
Michael was also nominated in the OUTSTANDING MALE/SINGER/SONGWRITER category
in 1999 and this year, 2003 by the LA MUSIC AWARDS.
His debut pop CD, "SPIRIT ON THE RUN", has received rave reviews, led by
such major periodicals as the CHICAGO SUN TIMES describing it as "a superb, debut
CD". BILLBOARD MAGAZINE depicted Michael as "an up & coming artist". MUSIC
CONNECTION magazine states, "this Wisconsin based resident could do very well
with some promotion and distribution behind him".
When not in the studio, Michael performs in the top acoustic venues in Los Angeles, Chicago and Madison, WI.
