We are an instrumental quartet featuring sax, piano, bass and drums specializing in original music inspired by the improvisational jazz art form. We entertain audiences with lively musical dialogue which ranges from fiery discourse to introspective thoughtfulness to tongue-in-cheek humor. We have been featured on TV news shows as well as many summer festivals in Tulsa and play Ciao Primo Room and Hibiscus regularly.

Biography

Mike is a freelance saxophonist, composer and woodwind instructor in Tulsa, OK specializing in improvisation that spans many musical genres. He leads and writes original music for his quartet consisting of piano, bass and drums and performs regularly at the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame, Tulsa Performing Arts Center, and Ciao Primo Room. He has had the opportunity to perform for and with musicians such as Bob Mintzer, Ramsey Lewis, Steve Coleman, Frank Sinatra, Jr., Buddy Morrow and traveled with Ringling Bros. for a year playing alto sax. He has recently finished recording a first album of original music which which is available on iTunes and CDBaby.com and enjoys chess, pool, and avant garde theatre.
