Michael Chicoria

Michael has devoted his life to the study of music and has attended berklee school of music as well as having studied
informally under the conductor of The Chorus of Westerly, Dr. George Kent. His interest in music began 20 years ago as a vocalist in the Chorus and quickly moved onto piano. He is proficient on Piano, Vibraphone, Melodica, and recently began guitar.

Through the years Michael has developed a unique relationship with the keyboard and now enjoys the variety of venues
that his range of musical styles covers. Michael is as comfortable jamming in a club setting as he is entertaining on a Steinway Grand.

Chicoria recently had the opportunity to open for the Boston Pops Festival Orchestra. In addition he has created a dueling piano show that he played in several Rhode Island and Connecticut settings.

One of the unique features of Michael's shows is his comfort with switching between the melodica and the piano creating a diverse sound and a musical environment that dazzles audiences. Michael connects with his audiences through his personal style of improvisation. His ability to create a show for specific events ranging from classical to rock makes his shows available and appropriate for a wide variety of audiences.
