"On The Cutting Edge!"

Most stuff I hear I throw out of my car window, but this one has made the cut into the high rotation of my favorites. They know about regrets and hard times, so it was easy for me to identify with them. - Lorena Bobbit

"THESE GUYS ARE THE BOMB!!!"

With their explosive performances, MICHAEL CLARKE AND THE ALLEY WALKERS are blowing up all over Belfast! They leave audiences rioting and screaming for more. We're seeing that The Alley Walkers have the uncanny ability to unite an otherwise divided crowd! We certainly hope that they are here to stay!! - IRA WEEKLY NEWSLETTER

Discography

We are just finishing up our first record, which should be out this winter. Aside from the core of The Alley Walkers, the recording also features Wayne Horvitz on Hammond B3, Jeff Fielder on slide guitar playing his sweet National, Phillip Peterson (Nada Surf) playing cello, and the voices of Janell Hartman and Leland Leichman.

Bio

I am originally from New York where I worked as a horn player for many years, performing all over town, including The Palladium, The Bottom Line, The China Club, and the original Sine. I moved to Seattle and put together The Alley Walkers and have performed with MIKE MCCREEDY, THE BEAUTIFUL CLARKS, KATE TUCKER, JACK WILSON, LELAND LEICHMAN, MOLLY ROSE, and THE CELEBRITY ORPHANS.
In January 2006, I strarted Third Thursdays At On The House, a monthly showcase featuring some of Seattle's best performing songwriters. This night ran for 2 1/2 years until On The House closed it's doors in the summer of 2008. During that time I hooked up with drummer and vocalist Sean Bendickson and bassist Peter Pinn Palermo (we call him Pinn). We have been playing all over the Seattle area
