Bio
Michael Dusk, born and raised in central New York state and is age 47. He started playing drums at age 8 and studied at the Tony Monforte school of music (drums) in Binghamton, NY for 10 yrs.Michael still beats on the skins on a daily basis. He can play a stand-up (prohibition style) "cocktail" kit and sing lead voice.
Currently Michael is living in NYC with his fiance (author) Madeline Alexis and is working on his debut self re-lease album titled "Central Park." which will entail jazz/swing era style original music and piano ballads with Michael on the stand-up drums and singing lead voice. Michael, a tenor, currently studies voice with Jennifer Hamaday in NYC and she is helping arrange his songs.
Michael's influences are Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Al Martino, Andrea Bocelli, and Dean Martin.
Michael's goals are to be a major entertainer, be a signed artist, and obtain music licensing in the next 5 years.
