Michael Hendry is an Australian based Singer Songwriter. After performing in several original bands over a number of years, he now concentrates on writing and performing his own material on acoustic guitar. The simple sound of acoustic guitar allows his broad vocal range to capture the true essence of his songs and performance.
His songs are a blend of rock, pop and folk, written about love, life and the odd fictional tale. Michael sights some of his influences as the likes of Neil Young, Geoff Buckley and Nick Drake.
Michael’s live playing experience is widespread. He has played shows both nationally and internationally, including the Copenhagen Songwriters Festival, and the International Songwriters Retreat in Ben Lomond California.
