Currently Michael is in the studio hard at work on his newest CD to be released around the first of the year.

Since Michael was the tender age of 9 years old, he has had music in his soul. He originally played the drums since that age, and has become an accomplished drummer. He toured as a drummer with his brother’s band and opened for such acts as Sammy Kershaw, Asleep At The Wheel, Merle Haggard, Mark Chestnutt, Charlie Daniels and She Daisy, to name a few, even including the honor of a presidential performance in 2004.
Over the last several years, Michael has been fine-tuning his sense of rhythm on the drums and brought that over to his love of the guitar. His rhythmic guitar sounds have brought a sense of beat to the emotions of his listeners. You can’t help but feel the story of the music and want to get up and move to it.
Michael has the charm and ability to connect with his audience in a way that makes them feel they are at a private show in their own living room. There is a sense of comfort between Michael and his fans. You can tell in an instant that he loves what he is doing.

Currently Michael J. Harris is booked for his next show at the Cedarwood in Milton, WA on December 18, 2010. Then he is back in the studio to finish his newest CD.
