Lyrics

When a sone becomes a Father

Written By: Michael King and Pam Spencer

When a son becomes a father.

Sitting back I reflect on what lies up ahead
I pray for nothing but the best and hold a miracle to my chest
Looking down I see my own eyes starring back at me
This little hand wrapped round my fingers’ holding my hearts key

Every part of life gets better further down the line
I’m looking through a clearer window that’s opened both my eyes
I’ve discovered a new love I never felt before
What a wonderful world
When a son becomes a father

Thinking back of memories most precious in my life
Like the day my best friend, became my wife
They said a child would change our lives, but not exactly how
I’ve never known a deeper love than I’m feeling now

Every part of life gets better further down the line
I’m looking through a clearer window that’s opened both my eyes
I’ve discovered a new love I never felt before
What a wonderful world
When a son becomes a father

But of all the things you do with your life
I hope you get to feel what I’m feeling holding you tonight

Every part of life gets better further down the line
I’m looking through a clearer window that’s opened both my eyes
I’ve discovered a new love I never felt before
What a wonderful world
What a beautiful world
It’s a whole new world
When a son becomes a father

When a son becomes a father
