I was so intrigued and wanted to know more about the man behind that voice, that I made contact with Michael and from there on I went into bat for him, convincing our Program Director to give him airplay. I am proud to say that 88.7 KIK FM was the first radio station in the world to give his songs airplay.
Michael Kosterman is a great songwriter and everybody that i know who has heard his voice says the same thing 'WOW!" The simple facts are : He looks great, he sings great and he writes great songs....what else could you want from a recording artist?

Michael Kosterman's voice captured me the first time I heard it. His lyrics touched my soul. His style is like no other. His talent as a singer /songwriter is something I have never encountered
before. His voice is so unique, and his lyrics come from his soul. There is no doubt that Michael will become another household name. His style is unmatched. Much like the styles of Elvis, Bob Seger and Reba McIntyre.
Nothing makes for a better country or Southern Rock song than a good writer that writes from experiences in their lives or the lives of the ones they have met in their life. Michael has so much to offer the entertainment world and his fans !!

I have just finished listening to MY HEART IS A SONG - love it! First heard Michael Kosterman four months ago on MySpace. While I enjoy each song I've heard, You May Never Get The Chance Again has been one of those songs that I can sit and hit replay on and enjoy over and over.
I love the energy, and he presents with a style and sound that is true to himself. I find him to be a talented artist, am proud to have him on the play-list at RadioIndieMusic.com and look forward to hearing more from this break out artist.
I review the songs of many artists through the week and when a song like this comes along I get very excited and can not wait to have it in my rotation. 10/21/07

Bio
Michael Kosterman is from Langley British Columbia Canada. His unique country rock sound evolved from the influences of some of the greatest artists of all time; The Eagles, Garth Brooks, Bryan Adams, Elvis Presley and others. His voice is gritty and full of heartfelt soul. The songs he sings he wrote himself and they echo with emotion and feeling. He played in bands for several years in the lower mainland of BC and then in 2005 Michael decided to pursue a solo career.
For two years Michael marketed his songs on the internet, and began to build a following. In 2007 he created a Myspace page and finally had access to music listeners all over the world. It wasn't long before the listeners reacted. Now with over 219,000 hits and plays over 107,000 Michael is consistently in the top artist charts. In July of 2008 Michael signed with Robert Moody at Artist Direct Management Group in Ontario Canada. His first single release to commercial radio will be on October 1st 2008. The song is titled My Heart is a Song and will be released through Mark Trail Music in Nashville Tennessee.
Just one listen to Michael's music and you will know that this is a singer songwriter that belongs in the world music community. He now has a large and loyal fan base. His music is already airing on several radio stations around the world.
