Michael Legan

At age 20, Michael Legan is quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with in the Singer-Songwriter scene. "He's one of the most prolific writers I've ever met," says John Lenker Producer/A&R for LucidTunes, the Indy label that is managing and developing Michael. "Not only that, but his songs are inspiring in a way that is extremely unusual coming from such a young person in this generation."

Legan's currently working on his yet-to-be-named debut song collection. 12 songs will be released towards the end of 2010.

"One of the biggest challenges," says Legan, "is finding venues to play in where the audience is there to listen to music--I mean really listen. Bars and sometimes even social-events can have so much chatter going on that it's hard to really connect with audiences." Lenker's plan for that? "I want to set up a series of theater performances with multiple artists each contributing to the audience-base. I'm hoping that when people come for the show and not to socialize that some authentic, powerful moments will follow.."

Michael will be both recording and performing in the greater Twin Cities throughout the remainder of 2010. Look for a release event in October.
