Bio
Michael Meanwhile cut his teeth in New York City playing guitar, bass, piano, drums, and singing harmonies for a number of bands and songwriters. Performing with various artists, in top NYC venues proved rewarding, but Meanwhile knew that breaking away was a chance to find his own voice. So in the final month of 2003, he bid farewell to his lifelong home and headed for the unfamiliar skyline of Portland, Oregon. This self titled CD is Meanwhile's first solo release and was produced by Paul Umbach. The songs are honest and arousing with lyrics that ring true to anyone interested in life beyond their immediate line of site. A profound declaration in the tradition of thoughtful songwriters and poets alike.
