Bio
My influences in general are anyone that ever sang or picked up a guitar to whom I had a chance to hear. From Robert Johnson to Jimi Hendrix and everyone in between. The difference in me and many blues band, is that my band is blues first! Not a rock band that plays a few blues tunes and calls ourselves "blues!" I was raised in the deep South, and was exposed to small church gospel music at a very early age. I learned to sing in those churches with all the honesty and emotion that I heard expressed there. I still sing and play with that same passion! I was never drawn to main stream rock and roll, rather I leaned toward the underground music of the late '60's and blues. Why? Because blues is honest! To paraphrase Jimi Hendrix, "The music (blues) don't lie!"
