BandHip HopAvant-garde

Nothing less than groundbreaking. Far from unlistenable, this provocative lyricist is still haunting and irritating me days later, and that's probably the best reaction an artist can hope to elicit with his works.

Biography

While the average mtv hip-hop rappers are oozing out every other tuesday another watered-down version of the one before the other, Michael Nhat has been going to independent shows of Mika Miko, Yeah Yeah Yeah's, Sage Francis, Radiohead, Aesop Rock, Bus Driver, etc and passing Free CDR's of his latest works to the fans in line hoping to build a fanbase before daring to submit demos to labels since 2003. And so it's worked. Making him an instant favorite among the hipsters and indie crowds who wouldn't spend a nickel on 2pac album, but religiously follow every lyric Michael Nhat is saying.

"Genius" - ADM PRoject
